Copycat See's Candies Fudge
Ingredients:
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts optional
Instructions:
Put parchment paper around the edges of an 8x8 inch 20x20 cm square baking pan, leaving an overhang to make it easy to take off
Put the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave
In 30-second increments, stir the mixture in the microwave until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth
Add the vanilla extract and salt and mix them in well
Add the nuts to the fudge mixture and mix them in
Pour the fudge mix into the baking pan that has been prepared
Use a spatula to smooth the top
Put the fudge in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets
Use the extra piece of parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan once it's set
Make little squares or rectangles out of the fudge
Serve and have fun!
