The Cheese Enchilada Burger
This burger is a delicious mix of Mexican and American classics. It has all the goodness of enchiladas and the ease of a burger. It tastes great, is cheesy, and is savory.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup enchilada sauce
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, enchilada sauce, diced onions, and a pinch of salt and pepper
Mix well
Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of grilling, top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese and allow it to melt
While the burgers are grilling, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill
