Mint Mocha Meringues



These mint mocha meringues are a delightful combination of refreshing mint, rich mocha, and chocolate chips. They are light, airy, and flavorful, making them the perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large egg whites
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

Warm your oven up to 200F 93C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Put the egg whites and salt in a clean, dry bowl

Beat them on medium speed until soft peaks form

Slowly add the granulated sugar while beating the mixture

Beat until peaks form that are shiny and stiff

Add the peppermint extract, mini chocolate chips, and instant coffee powder slowly

Make mounds of meringue on the prepared baking sheet using a piping bag or a spoon

Before you put the meringues in the oven, heat it up

Bake them for about 1

5 to 2 hours, or until they are dry and crisp

After baking, turn off the oven and let the meringues cool for 30 to 60 minutes

Carefully take the meringues off of the baking paper
